Axolotl Siege

Privacy policy

Last updated 5 October 2026

Axolotl Siege is a single-player game for iPhone. We don't ask for your name, email, location, contacts or photos, the game has no ads, and it doesn't track you. The only data we collect is anonymous game statistics, described below.

What stays on your iPhone

Your progress (levels, stars, axolotls, coins, gems and settings) is saved on your device. If iCloud is on, a backup copy is also kept in your own iCloud account, so a new iPhone can pick up where you left off. Only you and the game can read it; we never see it. Deleting the app deletes the copy on your iPhone.

Purchases

Purchases go through Apple's App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple tells the game only which item you bought so it can deliver it. Restore purchases in Settings asks Apple for that list again.

Anonymous game statistics

To see which levels are too hard and which parts of the game people enjoy, the game sends anonymous statistics to PostHog, our analytics service (PostHog, Inc., servers in the United States). They include what happens in the game (levels started and finished, stars, tutorial steps, hatching and Shop visits), which items you buy and their price, the game and iOS version, and how many times the game crashed or froze. Each copy of the game gets a random number, made on your iPhone, so we can count players without knowing who they are. Deleting the app deletes that number.

We don't send your name, email, Apple ID, advertising identifier or location, we ask PostHog not to keep your IP address, and we never link these statistics to you, sell them or use them for ads.

No ads, no tracking

The game shows no ads, contains no advertising SDKs, and never asks to track you across other apps.

Crash and performance reports

If you turn on "Share with App Developers" in your iPhone's settings, Apple sends us anonymous crash and performance reports. They don't identify you.

Children

The game is made for a general audience. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you think a child has given personal information through the game, contact us and we will help remove it.

Your rights

Your progress stays on your own devices, so you can delete it yourself: Settings > Reset progress clears your progress, and deleting the app removes it from your iPhone. The game statistics carry no name or contact details, so we can't tell which ones are yours; if you have a question or a request, write to us.

Changes and contact

We'll update this page before a new version of the game changes what it collects, and change the date at the top.
